Same Barrel - Different Beers

Mark your calendars for Exit 442's Groundhog Day Celebration! 

On Friday, February 2nd, Exit 442 members - Nebraska Brewing Company, Infusion Brewing Company Southwest, Kros Strain Brewing Company, Pint Nine Brewing Co. & Patriarch Distillers (Soldier Valley Spirits) are joining forces for a Groundhog Day Barrel Aged Beer Release & Bus Trip.

Each brewery got 2 Soldier Valley Whiskey Barrels from Patriarch Distillery and are aging some very special beers in them! All of which will be tapped on Groundhog Day 2018. Hop on and off the Free bus as you wish throughout the evening and try all of the beers as well as the whiske that was in these barrels!

The bus begins at 4:00 at Infusion, then traveling to NBC, Pint Nine, Kros Strain, Patriarch & back to Infusion. We expect the bus to make a circuit about every 40 minutes.

Casino Night to Benefit Parkinson's Nebraska

Join us for Casino Night at our SW brewery to benefit Parkinson’s Nebraska! The event starts at 6 pm on January 20th, 2018.

Advance tickets are $25 or $35 at the door. Ticket includes a buffet BBQ dinner, 1 free beer, and $500 in “play” money. Call our SW taproom at 402-934-2064 to reserve your spot!

Try your luck at the roulette, black jack, craps and chuck-a-luck tables. At the end of the night “cash in” your winnings for Infusion merchandise!

The Nebraska Hop Cup is an annual craft brew competition in benefit of the Nebraska Hop Growers Association & the Nebraska Craft Brewers Guild.

A multitude of Competing Nebraska Breweries will create a special beer using only 100% Nebraska grown hops and compete in a 'Peoples Choice' competition.

I have been looking forward to this event since the calendar turned to December! I had such a great time at the last year's event enjoying Bell's Brewery beers and the great food at Cunningham's. This year is even bigger with the Black Note tapping. I haven't had this stout, so I am really looking forward to trying it!

Thunderhead Brewing, Chocolates by Adam, and Joe Java-Stout are excited to bring you our first dark beer and chocolate tasting. We have given pastry chef Adam Hurt four of our favorite dark beers to come up with some amazing chocolates to pair with.

Few flavors partner as well as sweet and spice. Our chocolate chili stout blends a mix of five different chili's with two pounds of cocoa nibs, chocolate malts and cinnamon.  The subtle heat from the chili's builds slowly from your first sip to the last prominent chocolate notes throughout.

Infusion Brewing 4th Anniversary

For me it is hard to believe Infusion is only 4 years old. So many great beers produced in just 4 years. This should be a really fun event!

Come celebrate Infusion (Benson) turning 4 on Friday, October 6th with the tapping of 6 variations of our newest beer, Loose Morals Belgian Quad. This Quad was aged for 6 months in Templeton Rye barrels and it's a sweet, malty and full bodied brew that we added 90 lbs. of fresh raspberries.

In my opinion, the best festival that Lucky Bucket puts on every year is Oktoberfest!  I look forward to this event because I know the Big Pimpkin will be arriving. This year it is on September 8th from 7:00 - 11:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Groupon.

Ord, Nebraska on a fall Nebraska day will be gorgeous! I am sure Mike will have brewed some great ones in addition to the Scratchtoberfest Marzen.  The great brews of Scratchtown will be flowing and the Huskers will be on.  This one should be at the top of your list to attend!  Can't make this one, then checkout Caleb's home town fest - Nehawktoberbest.

Festbier is a golden lager inspired by the beers served at the modern day Oktoberfest celebration in Munich. Drinks smooth and crisp with hearty malt flavor.

The local food truck scene has been receiving a lot of positive attention in our community. We want to support their ever growing businesses. In conjunction with our Festbier release we are hosting a food truck rally! Big Luvs BBQ & Catering, The Gilded Swine, Motorfood, Nitro Burger, andMuchachos will be serving up their best for you to enjoy.

Total Solar Eclipse with Thunderhead Brewing

The event of a lifetime that you don’t want to miss!  See a total solar eclipse from one of the finest breweries in Nebraska on Monday, August 21st.  Thunderhead Brewing is making this possible by chartering busses to take people to the brewery in Axtell, NE and watch the TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE!  What better excuse do you need to skip work on a Monday.  Rumor has it there could be a Total Solar Eclipse Dunkel Bock in the makings and available around the time of the event - how awesome would that be!

Agenda: 

• Leaving Omaha Taproom at 13304 W Center Rd #126, Omaha, NE 68144 at 7:00 a.m.
• Arriving in Kearney around 10:00 am
• Eclipse viewing is around 11:30 a.m.
• Go to Thunderhead Brewing in Axtell for a brewery tour and beer!
• Return to Omaha between 6:00 and  7:00 p.m.
   

The cost is $65 per person but the day will be priceless!  Joe has his ticket! 

• One bus with room for 45 has been rented.
• Beer available on the bus
• Will rent additional buses as they fill up.
