Ballast Point Mocha Marlin is a Chocolate and Coffee Porter. This is a really good Porter with more chocolate flavor than coffee. The chocolate appears in the aroma of this beer and also up front as you drink it. I really didn't get much coffee flavor out of this like I do with the Victory At Sea Imperial Porter with Coffee and Vanilla. At the back end there is slight hop bitterness that nicely offsets the chocolate sweetness upfront.
