Lil Boh Czech Pils

It has been sometime since I thought about my Grandma Texel and the incredible Bohemian dishes she would make. Roast pork, sauerkraut, and dumplings was my favorite as a child. The whole house would smell wonderful on Sundays when we would visit. There were many others too including soups and the best rye bread you could ever imagine!

As I poured my first Lil Boh Czech Pils from Infusion Brewing Company, the memories of grandma’s cooking came rushing back. I think Lil Boh would have paired very well with a lot of her dishes. This pilsner has this amazing slight bready and saltiness that flows throughout each sip. A very crisp and dry beer with just minimal carbonation.

Lil Boh is extremely easy drinking and comes in at 5.6% ABV. I think this is an incredible beer and a tribute to Little Bohemia in Omaha. My grandfather who was a meat packer all his life and enjoyed a beer on occasion would have loved Lil Boh!

Highly recommend this beer! Now I just need some good sauerkraut and dumplings to go with it.

Oh and for others who are like me looking at Czechia and thinking what is that. Well Czechoslovakia became the Czech Republic which is now Czechia. Just remember it as the country that drinks more beer per capita than any other country in the world.

Na zdraví
